Rate Limiting

To maintain blazing fast speeds on the edge, we enforce rate limits on API requests.

Limits by Tier

  • Hobby Plan: 100 requests per minute
  • Pro Plan: 1,000 requests per minute
  • Enterprise: Custom Limits

Handling Limits

If you exceed your rate limit, the API will return a 429 Too Many Requests status code. The response will include a Retry-After header indicating how many seconds you must wait.

Built-in Backoff

If you initialize the Libro SDK with maxRetries, it will automatically handle 429 responses and implement exponential backoff logic on your behalf!
